A. Brooks Fleming House

This marks the home of the eighth governor of West Virginia, Aretas Brooks Fleming. He was a former prosecuting attorney for Marion County who lived from 1839–1923. The marker is located on the grounds of the former American Legion Home at 207 Jefferson Street in downtown Fairmont.
